Exercise has long been noted as the best way to prevent injury in older people. This is a good example of using a workout space to not only encourage exercise and movement, but also social interaction among residents. This project is part of a larger long term renovation that began in 2005. Located on the 3rd floor, this exercise room is bright and welcoming with plenty of area to move around easily. The senior friendly exercise equipment that encourages strength training and stability. Exercise has proven to help seniors prevent falls and recover faster if an injury occurs.
