LOBBY REMODEL 2007
Cascades of Tucson was entering a new phase when it began doing larger renovations in 2006. The first area that was to be redesigned was the main lobby. The lobby area is what sets the stage for the rest of the visitors experience. The first impression that this lobby gave was old. The colors were pale green and pink (see before pictures). Throughout the lobby and resident hallways the feeling of this space was anything but modern. The look was tired and dated; but the residents living here were happy and upbeat! Changing the color palette to something with more vitality and energy gave this dull looking lobby space new life! Using comfortable furniture and brighter artwork helped to create a more inviting space. Using the new lobby color palette as the main theme of the property, keeping the colors similar but not identical throughout the long remodeling process, made this renovation seamless. Each color palette for all of the remaining public interior spaces played off the colors that were included in the new lobby décor. The artwork, lighting and accessories were also an important element to creating a sophisticated space that achieves the design purpose.SEE FULL PROJECT DETAILS.
